In a bit of good news for air travelers seeking comfort on their flights, United Airlines recently announced that it would be retaining its Economy Plus seating section and adding it to Continental airplanes starting in 2012.

The Economy Plus seating section, which was introduced in 1999 and can now be found on every plane across United's fleet, gives passengers in the front of the Economy section up to five extra inches of legroom.
